Born in the Dominican Republic on November 12, 1968, Sammy Sosa is an accomplished professional baseball player. He has played for the Chicago Cubs, Baltimore Orioles, and Texas Rangers. Throughout his professional baseball career, he has had 609 career home runs. He was a member of seven All-Star teams. He is also one of only two players to have at least 25 career home runs.

She’s also a PRISM international poet. Her work is included in several journals. She’s been a finalist for the Small Axe Literary Prize and is a grand prize winner of the Small Axe Poetry Prize.


Despite being an intercessor and first wife of Sammy Sosa, Karen Lee Bright has remained fairly low-key. She has not released a lot of her personal details to the public, but has hinted at the existence of a second child, who is still in her womb.

Besides being the wife of a famous pop star, Karen Lee Bright was also an avid reader and a keen gardener. She authored several children’s books, and was a founding member of the COS (Christian Organization of Students) program, which had the best class placement of all the schools in her area.
