Sammy Sosa

During his baseball career, Sammy Sosa won a number of awards and accolades. His biggest honor was being voted the 1998 MVP. In addition, he won six Silver Slugger awards and two NL home run reader awards.

Born in the Dominican Republic on November 12, 1968, Sammy Sosa is an accomplished professional baseball player. He has played for the Chicago Cubs, Baltimore Orioles, and Texas Rangers. Throughout his professional baseball career, he has had 609 career home runs. He was a member of seven All-Star teams. He is also one of only two players to have at least 25 career home runs.

The Medical Baseline Portable Backup Battery Pilot Program also includes a free backup battery for all low-income customers who opt to participate. The company partnered with Community Resources for Independent Living to deliver the batteries to customers’ homes and to provide storage for the batteries.
